Our volunteers are a blessing to the Evangel Home ministry−we simply could not function without them. They sort donations, answer telephones, cook and serve meals, pull weeds, was windows, adopt apartments, paint the basement, teach craft classes, lead chapel services, even change all the filters on the swamp coolers in preparation for a hot Fresno summer. We humbly thank each and every one of them!

Volunteers have always been the backbone of this ministry, and it is encouraging to see new people come alongside “veterans”. We need and appreciate people who are willing to risk and get involved, and who can share their gifts and talents with us. Your love of God is shown in your service to the community.
 
We have about 100 volunteers serving in a number of ways including:
 
• Leading chapel service
• Teaching classes
• Helping in day care and kitchen
• Reception
• Maintenance
• Organizing donated items such as food and clothing
• Maintenance and painting
• Helping with special outings for our women and children
 
Most volunteers commit to a weekly schedule, but there are also opportunities for helping out less frequently as well as doing one-time special projects.
