“I love the fact that you don’t depend on the government. You can treat people like people and don’t have to worry about strings.” -Cleo

An annual banquet was Keith Ginsburg’s introduction to Evangel Home and it was an instant connection. He knew, that night, it was a place where he wanted to serve, and serve he certainly has. He wasted no time in meeting with Gerre Brenneman in order to determine where he might be of help.

Gerre revealed that it is very difficult for the residents to obtain employment because they have no knowledge of computers. Well, that’s all it took. As owner of a computer business, Keith had the knowledge and resources available to create an up-to-date computer lab. He sorted through all of Evangel Home’s old computers. Kept some. Reworked some. Brought in some new ones. He then installed appropriate programs for learning the basics.

Today, because of Keith, Evangel Home is blessed to offer residents a place to become familiar with the workings of a computer -- some have never even touched one. But it doesn’t stop there. Keith also donates one day a week as an instructor.

Thank you, Keith! You certainly are an Evangel Home Angel.
