From crisis to community...that is one way of summarizing
Evangel Home's effective ministry. For decades, our core programs have been
creating an environment of love, community, and security for the women and
children we serve. Below you will find outlines of each core program so you
have a better idea of how we may be able to help you or someone you love:
 Crisis Home
28-day emergency shelter. Houses up to 24 women & kids. Includes meals, shelter, clothing,
chapel, and counseling.
I came to Evangel Home with no place to go. Since I've been here I found Christ and I know he didn't bring me this far to let me go.
The home is very clean, with three meals a day and more care than I have experienced in a long time. I am so glad I am finally finding my way.
Dalana - Crisis Home Resident
 CrossRoads
9-month residential program. Teaches basic living skills and discipleship.
Includes parenting skills, boundary setting, finances, Bible study, and counseling.
Being accepted into CrossRoads has been rewarding. It is a spiritual and learning environment.
The classes are very informative and are open for us to discuss life experiences.
It's a blessing to be in my cute studio apartment. I am learning and growing every day. The staff and teachers are very knowledgeable and spiritually uplifting.
I feel very blessed.

 GARDEN: God Answers, Redeems, Delivers, Everyone Who Draws Near
Alternative sentencing. 9-month residential recovery. Accommodates up to 6 women. Classes & services include Seekers 12-Step Program, Bible study, counseling, structured living and work programs.
I came here broken, distraught and very discouraged. The GARDEN is a very structured program with many classes that equip you for life.
It explores your very deep emotions in order for the Lord to heal you.
I love being in the word for it is life giving. I thank God I am here.

 Community Connections
CrossRoads and GARDEN graduates are employed or attending school fulltime (up to an additional 12 months. Classes and services include weekly aftercare classes and on-site housing and support.
I thank God every day that I was able to go through the Evangel Home program.
I am now in their Community Connection program. I have an apartment, a part-time job on campus and am now going to adult school so that I can better myself and my future.
