What I like most about my job...
The variety of people and activities.
 
Evangel Home received two special acknowledgements at our 50th anniversary banquet in 2005 illustrating this wonderful variety. One is a large beautiful, gold-framed resolution from the state legislature listing 10 reasons to recognize our ministry. It says in part that we have made a tremendous impact in the local community and that the Home "has made a lasting impact on those individuals it serves."
 
One of those very individuals, a former resident and bag lady who now owns her own home, presented the second resolution. It is a small red, white and blue certificate in a wooden lime green frame. It is handwritten and says in part we are to be recognized for "Walking the Talk."
 
I love being part of a ministry that has the commitment to reflect God's light and the integrity to "walk the talk."
 
What I like least about my job...
There's ALWAYS more to do.
 
One thing surprising about me...
I collect PEZ dispensers.
